Jody Fulton IV is a certified life coach. He is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, physician, attorney, or financial advisor, and does not diagnose or treat any medical or psychological condition.
What coaching actually does
Coaching is a forward-focused, collaborative process. We work on clarity, goals, decisions, behavior, strategy, and accountability. You remain the decision-maker in your own life at every point, and you are responsible for the actions you take and the outcomes that follow.
When something else is needed
If clinical issues surface in our work — including depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, disordered eating, substance use, or thoughts of self-harm — I will say so directly and encourage you to work with a licensed professional. Coaching can run alongside clinical care, and often does well, but it does not replace it.

Confidentiality and its limits
What you share in coaching is treated as confidential and is never published or shared without your written permission. Be aware that coaching is not a licensed profession and therefore does not carry the legal privilege that attaches to therapy or legal counsel. There are also rare circumstances — such as a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, or a valid legal requirement — where disclosure could be necessary.
No guaranteed outcomes
Results vary from person to person and depend heavily on your own effort, circumstances, and choices. No specific outcome, income, career result, relationship result, or life change is promised or guaranteed.
